Between the stress of back to school (if you follow me on Instagram, you saw my little reality check at my oldest daughter driving herself) and finishing up some other projects this week, I was worried I wasn't going to have a swap for you this week.
But sometimes stories just get dropped in your lap, and they are too good to NOT use in a plot swap—like these two..
The video to this is pretty entertaining. What cracked me up is in the story it says that the deputies originally stopped to ask if they could take a picture then realized the women were stuck in the weeds. This could be so much fun! A cute-meet between a woman and one of the deputies. A scene in a women's fiction story about friends trying to reconnect during a weekend retreat.
My first thought on this one was HOW MANY PACKAGES OF RAMEN NOODLES ARE IN THIS TRAILER? They are about $0.29 per package. That's a stunning amount of noodles! So what if whoever took this truck was supposed to be stealing a different truck? What's going to happen when the crime boss (because that's the only logical explanation, right?) finds out he has a truck full of noodles instead of...whatever crime bosses expect to be in the back of stolen trucks? But what if someone knew what it was? What if this was their plan to feed the people they were hiding? What if buried some where in the thousands and thousands of noodle packages there was some kind of incriminating clue? What if stealing the truck was only a distraction to draw attention away from something much more sinister?
That's what I have for you this week. Think you could make something intriguing out of either of these?
Ever been rescued by the police? Have any Top Ramen stories?
