Friday Plot Swap- Puppy Love Style

FRIDAY PLOT SWAP:

Puppy Love Style

Need a plot? Take one!

Have a plot? Leave one!

I wasn't planning on a plot swap today. My living room looks like a corn-maze of boxes. I've been sorting through it all week. No one has given me any cheese when I find my way out at the end of the day. Not even once!

So, I had planned on having everything on hold until November 1st. FUN STUFF coming up! (Hints: NaNoWriMo, new reviews of awesome books, catching up on my organizational status, and some great plots swaps.)

Then, my friend,  Teri Anne Stanley  (who is a fabulous writer and you should totally check out her books!) posted this on Facebook.

Guys adopt stray dog and puppies that crash bachelor party

It's the sweetest story ever! The mama dog showed up at the cabin they were using for their "Guys-only" weekend. They fed her, named her and followed her to where she was hiding seven puppies. Then, they gave them ALL homes. *swoon* The article has adorable pictures of each man with his puppy. A perfect series idea. What if they were all bachelors and each puppy led them to the love of their lives?

Then, because I like to be sure you have several plot swapping options, I started searching for more dog stories and found this "hero".

Man 'high on LSD' saves dog from imaginary house fire – police

The man drove his car through the neighbor's fence, busted through a glass door and "saved" their dog from a house fire. Except, the house wasn't on fire. My favorite part in the article is where it states, "Police found him standing ‘heroically’ with the dog in his arms when they arrived at the scene..."

There's so much you could do with this. What if the guy wasn't high but was having a premonition and arrived too early? Or, how about a romance between the homeowner and the trooper who shows up to take the report? Or, this could be a nice snippet of backstory.

They became best friends.

They became best friends.

And grew into this.

And grew into this.

So, that's what I have for you this week. What could you do with these? You do some swapping. I have go finish the boxes. :(

HAPPY WRITING!!
